Things I Like, For Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day just around the corner (Sunday, 11th March), I thought I’d compile a wee list of Things I Like which I’m sure a lot of other mums would quite like too.

Flowers and chocolates are old faithful standbys, but here are a few other things your mum or the mother of your child may like too:

A new makeup bag with her initial on the front. I’m not usually a big fan of things with a big ‘J’ for Julie on the front but I spotted a collection of these on display in Next and thought they looked rather lovely.

This cool MOTHER sweatshirt. All profits from sales of these sweatshirts go to Women for Women International – an inspiring charity that help women in eight war-torn regions rebuild their lives through training programmes.

Instead of buying her a bunch of flowers that won’t last long buy her a big beautiful faux tulip wreath that will bring some spring cheer to her door all year round.

Some delicious smelling candles. If you candle decide on just one scent, this candle collection from Molton Brown gives her a taste of each before she decides which is her favourite.

A new mug. This ‘Awesome People Club‘ mug is the perfect way to tell mums exactly how amazing they are!

Happy Mother’s Day when it comes. I hope you get a bit of a long lie and enjoy breakfast in bed, I hope I do!
